Privacy policy.

hoshi runs a small restaurant, not a data business. This page explains the limited personal information this website handles, why, and how to have it removed.

What we collect

• Inquiry and contact forms. If you write to us through this site we receive the name, email address, phone number, and any details you choose to include — for example a date and guest count for a private event.
• Mailing list. If you join our list we store your email address and the page you signed up from.
• Table requests. There is no third-party booking system yet, so a request goes straight into our own database and nowhere else. When online booking does launch, the provider will handle bookings on their systems under their own privacy policy and this page will say who they are.
• Gift cards. Arranged by email for now, and paid for in the restaurant. We never see or store payment details.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.
• We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics profiling on this site.
• We do not store payment card details on any system we control.

How we use it

To reply to you, to plan an event you have asked us about, and — if you have opted in — to send occasional news about seasonal menus and availability. Nothing else. Every mailing carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

How long we keep it

Inquiries are kept while they are useful for looking after you as a guest, and mailing-list entries until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete anything we hold at any time.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies at all. There is no advertising, no analytics and no third-party script on any page of it. If a booking provider is added later it may set its own cookies once you reach it, governed by its policy rather than ours, and this page will say so.

Your choices

Write to hello@hoshiob.com to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will act on the request rather than argue about it.
